What fun we had today in the garden! Many of the plants have grown at least 2 inches from last week. But, we are worried that the tomatoes and the gourds are not going to make it up.
We made our own observation journals using these instructions to record our thoughts, measurements, and drawings. We recycled used copy paper and rubber bands from newspapers to make our journals. We learned that Edith Holden had a garden journal over 100 years ago, and we looked at some of her drawings and read some of her journal entries from The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady.
